ShoeBaggie was born out of a need.

As an extensive traveler, I grew tired of having to pack my shoes in a plastic bag—they often ripped during my travels and left me with nothing to pack my shoes in.

I researched the market looking for a shoe bag and found very little.  They were often too big and bulky, pricey ($80!) or were of very poor quality and often did not fit both pairs of my shoes.

I decided to take matters into my own hands and began constructing a shoe bag. I choose a material that was durable, machine washable and a very quick dry.  The Lycra Spandex blend made the shoe bag flexible, which would allow me to pack my husband’s bulky hiking shoes to my spiked high heel boots. Another requirement for this shoe bag was that it be easily stored away during my travels or in my home for it’s next use.

Out came the ShoeBaggie.  I began using it and loved it.  My friends noticed my ShoeBaggie and asked for me to make one for them, citing they too had been on the hunt for the perfect shoe bag but found nothing substantial on the market.

Recognizing that needs were not being met we decided to bring ShoeBaggie to the masses.
